Day 1

Arrival at the airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Dinner in Beirut

Day 2

Visit of the National Museum of Beirut with a prestigious collection of coins from different archaeological sites throughout Lebanon. Stop at the corniche in front of the cave pigeons, then take a walk in downtown Beirut to discover the different areas (the Place de l’Etoile and the Place des Martyrs), the archeological sites (the garden of the pardon and the Roman baths) as well as the various places of worship such as the mosque Mohammad Al Amin, St. George’s Cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Church and the church Saint Louis of the Latin community built in the 19th century. (Possibility Eucharistic celebration and meeting). Back to the hotel dinner and overnight in Beirut.

Day 3

Road to the South of Lebanon, traversed by the footsteps of Christ. Visit of Cana, located in the back Country of Tire, the place where, according to early church historians, Jesus attended a wedding to makes his first miracle. Road to Maghdoucheh the village overlooking Sidon, where the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Waiting is built around a cave where the Virgin Mary waited for her Son during her wanderings in South Lebanon. Continuation to the mountain of Chouf, a region of cohabitation between Druze and Maronites, visit Deir al Kamar, former capital of the Ottoman province of Mount Lebanon, walk in its streets and visit Saydet al Tell church (possibility of Eucharistic celebration and meeting). Return to the hotel in Beirut dinner and overnight

Day 4

Departure from the hotel. Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa, then visit the Basilica of Saint Paul of the Greeks Catholics Church with its wonderful mosaics. Road to the convent of Notre Dame de Bzommar, Patriarchal Armenian Catholic seat since the 18th century. Continuation to Annaya where is the hermitage and the convent where the great Maronite saint Charbel lived Makhlouf. In the late afternoon, walk in the old town of Byblos and visit the church of Saint Jean-Marc Crusaders (Possibility of Eucharistic celebration and meeting). Dinner in Jounieh or Byblos

Day 5

Road to the Batroun region, visit of the old city and its church Saydet al Baher overhanging the Phoenician wall, continue towards the back country of Batroun for the visit of the burial site of the holy Maronite Rafqa in Jrebta and the tombs of Saint Neemtallah Hardini, Blessed Stephan Neemeh and Kfifane. Visit of the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Balamand, which was a Cistercian abbey at the time of the Crusades, and the Greek convent Saydet al Nouriyeh Orthodox located at the top of a rocky promontory offering a superb view of the sea. (Possibility of Eucharistic celebration and meeting). Dinner and night in Jounieh or Byblos


Day 6

Departure from the hotel. Drive North for the visit of the Cedars regions Becharré, overlooking the Qadisha Valley. Visit of the museum of Lebanese poet-writer and painter Gibran Khalil Gibran, the author of “Prophet”, then a short hike in the biblical forest of the Cedars, located at 2000 m. altitude. In the holy valley called Qadisha in Syriac, visit of the monastery of Saint Elisha (Mar Lichaa), place of the monastic reform Maronite in the 17th century and the monastery of St. Anthony Qozhaya, where in the 17th century was placed the first Arabic print works. (Possibility of celebration Eucharistic and meeting). Return to the hotel dinner and overnight at jounieh or Byblos

Day 7

Transfer from the hotel to the airport for departure.
