Mzaar Kfardebian is the most famous ski resort and the best equipped in Lebanon, it is 46 km from Beirut, with 42 tracks, 80 kilometers of ski slopes and 15 mechanical lifts, it welcomes more than 4000 visitors the weekend.
At an altitude ranging from 1850 to 2465 meters, Mzaar-Kfardebian offers superb views of the Bekaa, the chains of Anti-Lebanon and Mount Hermon as well as the summits of Laklouk and Cedars, as well as the city of Beirut when visibility is good. The adventurous can ask for a ski school guide who will show you sublime places.
The ski school for children offers training by qualified instructors. With wide slopes, this is also the ideal resort for beginners.
On the way to the resort, it is possible to visit the natural bridge and the temples of Faqra.
Laqlouq is a winter resort located 62 km from Beirut (28 km from Jbeil), at an altitude between 1650 and 1900 meters. The ski school and its Club, open all year round, offers open air games with tennis courts and a swimming pool. Laqlouq is characterized by the beauty of the landscape, and its proximity to tourist attractions such as the Balaa Chasm, the Cedar Forest of Tannurine and the convent Mar Maran Annaya.
The Cedars, a stone’s throw from the Cedar Forest of the Lord who gave its name to the region and the premiere station of the country. Located at an altitude ranging from 2000 to 3000 meters above sea level, it offers the longest ski season, from December to the end of April. The region offers a magical atmosphere with the valley of Qadicha, as well as a lot of places to visite such as the Khalil Gibran Museum, Beqaa Kafra the birthplace of Saint Charbel and the cave of Qadicha.
