Golden Triangle

(5 days / 4 nights)

Arrive at the King Hussein Airport close to Aqaba (AQJ), where we will meet you, assist with immigration and then transfer you to your hotel. Aqaba is a small city in the south of Jordan, known for some of the most beautiful diving and snorkeling sites in the world. Due to its location at the northern tip of the Red Sea, Aqaba has been of great economic and strategic importance for the region for hundreds of years.

Depending on your arrival and departure times, you can go for a 3-hour cruise, relax on the sun deck, jump into the water, swim, snorkel, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.

Dinner & Overnight in Aqaba

Breakfast at the hotel, early morning transfer from Aqaba to Little Petra. Enter Petra via ‘The Back Door’. You will start your day trip at Siq al-Barid (Little Petra) and then visit the Neolithic village along the way. The entire route via Ad Deir, down to the ancient center of Petra, with the walk through the Siq to the Visitor Centre at the entrance is about 13 km long.

Only a few tourists take the time to experience the topography and history of the area in this special way with breathtaking views of the mountains and across the wide basin of Wadi Araba. The climb up to the mountain plateau of Ad Deir is not very strenuous. You need a little physical condition for the ups and downs of the path and the stairs, and you shouldn’t be afraid of heights.

Dinner & Overnight in Petra

In the early morning, after breakfast, you will head back into ancient Petra. This time, you will enter through the ‘Siq’, a 1km long narrow gorge flanked by 80m high cliffs. Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. Once the gorge opens up, you will stand in front of ‘the Treasury’, Petra’s most famous structure. Take some time to take in the magnificent building. From there, set out to discover more of the massive world heritage site, such as some of the many elaborated rock-cut tombs, a Roman-style theater, temples, the sacrificial altar, and colonnaded streets.

Later on this day, we will transfer you to Wadi Rum, where you may enjoy a beautiful sunset. Then get a taste of the famous traditional Bedouin hospitality, and spend a memorable night under millions of stars.

Dinner & Overnight at a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum.

After enjoying breakfast with a fantastic view, we will take you on a jeep tour through the desert scenery to the foot of Jabal Umm ad-Dami. Jabal Umm ad-Dami, more than 1,800 meters high and the highest peak in Jordan, offers a whole new perspective of the desert from its summit. To the south, you can see the border to Saudi Arabia; to the north, Jabal Rum and Wadi Rum Village. Climbing to the summit and back to the desert floor takes approximately three hours, depending on your ability. Once back at the foot of the mountain, enjoy a simple lunch in the desert, then we will transfer you back to Aqaba.
